After fifteen years using Quicken, and upgrading it almost every year, I thought that 2010 version would be better than the previous versions. Nooooooooo. I find it disturbing the speed with wich Intuit puts out a new version full of bugs that require numerous patches to work half-way decently. Downloading transactions is a major problem because they do not match your register. You have to make manual corrections for EVERY transaction. The GUI has not changed much. I believe that the person who designed it has a major interest in not allowing to change. Menus continue to be simple, but so is their design and source code: BASIC VB. It reminds me very much of Andrew Tobias "MANAGING YOUR MONEY" of 1985. Time to get better folks. I am sorry that I spent my money. I have no choice since there is no alternative application for Personal Finance. Like many other folks who use this program, I am disapointed with the product. Where are the data entry forms of years past??? More money for less is not a good deal, no sirrrr.

Purchased for 4th grader who loves to learn random facts and interesting tidbits. This book is full of color pictures and hundreds of records that vary from interesting, mundane, to extreme. It is a good conversation piece and our friends and family like browsing through it when they visit.

I want more. This had just the right amount of innuendo, sprinkling of sex, a female lead, but definetly not a romance. Fantasy without stupidity. Hope there is more to come in this series, and now I have to go back and read his other works.

I had a little problem in the beginning extending the pole. I overextended it and could get it to retract again. This caused a little frustration. Then I noticed that the pole has instructions written on it (with stop lines that I didn’t see at first) that tell you how to operate it. That what I get for not reading instructions first . I never had a pole with an antishock feature before and when we were just playing with it, it didn’t seem like it was going to help. So when we took it hiking yesterday, I wasn’t expecting much. I was wrong. It’s not really bouncy, but it did lessen the impact downhill. Halfway down, I gave it to my friend to try it out and he liked it too. He had to adjust the wrist strap which took a little while because I had woven in back into the buckle so the end wasn’t flying free and rubbing against my arm. The handle of the pole has a smell that still has not gone away and the smell transfers to your hands. Other than that it’s a decent pole.
