A well developed and ultimately gripping tale which should hold the interest of both hard and thematic sf fans. The early chapters do a smooth job of setting up the central characters and the plot line, and there are a number of twists which keep it from becoming too predictable. he characters are believable, and the development of the first contact scenario is unique and interesting.

The stories selected are well crafted and very interesting. I used the collection in a class and there were many comments generated by each story as we analyzed plot and character. There seemed to be new and/or different authors represented and this was a treat as it is nice having exposure to a other writers. Some stories pushed the limit on length and really were "long" short stories.

This author has become one of my favorite go-to read. Her books always has the strong heroine with lots of ammunition for banters and the heroes are all Alpha with hearts of gold. It's just difficult not to fall in love with the characters.

I have used Al Cass exclusively for at least the past 10 years with great results. I have never had issues with sluggish valves or any other type of valve problem. In addition, I enjoy the larger sized bottles which seem to last forever. Usually I only have to oil my valves every two weeks or so. I personally don't use it for slides normally, but I have put it on my 1st and 3rd slides in a pinch and have had good results. It also works very well at thinning out thicker oils or greases for slides.
