I always enjoy the books of the Best American series, including other editions of the travel essays. I rate these collections based on the number of essays that wow me and that I feel are real discoveries. While almost all the essays in this edition were interesting or funny, none were especially insightful about travel or culture. None of them seemed like discoveries or essays that I was glad I hadn't missed. A worthwhile read, but not essential.
Two problems I've experienced in the 2 to 2.5 year range after first applying. It sounds like I am in the minority to experience the residue problem, so I might have purchased a bunch of defective packages. If you are considering buying them, perhaps your luck will be better.
The cross bars arrived super fast and fit my 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo perfectly!!! They look nice and don't make very much noise either. I bought a Thule kayak carrier for these bars and that fits the bars perfectly as well. The instructions are absolute crap but you'll figure it out by reading other comments and by trial and error.
My son loves this game. it keeps him entertained during appointments and long waits without getting bored with it.
I've been using Living Cookbook 2011 for six months, and this is the best software I have found (and I studied many) in my search for software to aid in creating nutritionally customized meal plans and then generate shopping lists. LC makes it easy to capture, organize, and search for recipes and ingredients; and there are spreadsheet-style displays for comparing their nutritional values and more. I also like the automatic backup feature.
My husband cancelled pc matic last year because it was eating up all of data & we didn't have unlimited data. Last night I looked at my credit card statement & pc matic had taken $49.99 out of my account (a year after we cancelled). When I finally found a number to call them, it was a recorded message saying to leave your name & number & they would call you back. I have yet to hear back from them. I have heard of others having the same problem since then. I will have to cancel my credit card & get a new one to get the charges off. Apparently, once you get it, you can't talk to a real person again!!
