  • Ranch Girl - Easy to follow and it works!

This book provides some simple rules that are easy to follow. It is not a "diet" as much as a way of eating for a healthy lifestyle. You don't go hungry, and you do loose weight. This is not a low carb diet, but it is a reduced carb diet. The authors provide a good explanation as to what causes your body to store fat. The simple rules require that when you eat high carb foods you also eat protein in a 2:1 ratio while never exceeding 30g carbs at a given time. You are allowed a reasonable amount of fat as well. The foods you eat are very similar to the South Beach Diet, but I like this better because of the simple rules about the protein and carb combining, and I don't like to follow menus in a book.

  • Heather Rand - Really Disappointing

Really disappointed in this printer. I bought this to replace my Epson WP 4530. I was excited about the EcoTank and did not have any problems with pouring in the ink. Set-up went smoothly. My disappointment came in the lack of features. The printer will print double-sided, but it will not scan or copy double-sided. This was a feature that my old Epson had. The document feeder on top does not always work, even when double checking that the page(s) is touching the sensor. The scanning is much much slower than my old Epson and so it takes much longer to make a simple copy. The printing quality does not seem to be as nice as my previous Epson inkjet either. I had expected the same if not better. Lastly, I was really surprised at the quality of construction. Compared to my 4 year old Epson, this one seemed like a much cheaper printer. Almost like I bought a $100 printer and then added $400 worth of ink on the side. I'd rather have the quality back and deal with the hassle of cartridges. I tried to work beyond the differences in my other Epson, but the new 4550 has actually slowed down my work processes. I am returning the printer.

  • Lee A. Bartholomew - For those who dislike VCI Entertainment....

It's not VCI.!!!!! VCI has a stranglehold on this movie and not for the better. And the feel of this Canadian release feel as in looks. :P like it should be sitting next to the books with it's off green color hue. and no Fake color anywhere. I had the misfortune several years ago sending in one of their dvds that wouldn't work (dvd rot? it does exist) Naturally they sent it back in the case lose !!! scratched to hell. No way I'd be ever able to play that again even with skip doctor. if Echo Bridge can spit out so so movies good. But VCI can also spit out bad disks too. :( Then sent me the b/w disc of a 2 disc set . But thats the last time I'll buy from them.

  • a_guy_in_boston - Civ 6 is a masterpiece!

Civ 6 is absolutely superb. The developers retained what was best about Civ 4 and Civ 5, while eliminating the mechanics that were the least rewarding. The result is the most gorgeously detailed computer game I have seen. Returning from Civ 4 are the voiceovers, now in the dulcet tones of Sean Bean rather than Leonard Nimoy, along with the animations of victories and wonders. And returning from Civ 5 are the hex board and newly-overhauled (much for the better) pathways for espionage and religion. Eliminated are the drudgery of mid-game and the boring "mini-game" of organizing "great works" that you had to endure for a cultural victory in Civ 5. The reasons for computer-player actions now make sense and are wonderfully engaging; for example, I was laughing out loud at the taunting shenanigans of Peter the Great. In Civ 6, the voiceovers, computer-player animations, and voice acting are superb; the music is superb; the unfolding story of the gameplay is superb. This is truly a masterpiece of a game.

  • Amazon Customer - Definite Must-have for Fans

After purchasing the last Illustrated Edition, I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next book. The last edition was a wonderful interpretation of the scenes and characters, and this one is even better. This may be in part of Jim Kay gaining more confidence in his interpretations as he had previously been nervous about releasing his illustrations to a rather popular series.

  • RyanH - Great exercise mat to provide extra cushion

Great cushioning for any workout on a hard surface. This gives considerably more cushion than a typical yoga mat, without feeling ridiculously plush and unsteady. Having done P90X, P90X3, Insanity, and Insanity Max:30, this mat has come in handy and saved my bones from digging into the garage floor. Be careful, though. It can get very slippery if sweating excessively.
